I am inspired by those doing the work to understand and evolve their unconscious and past programming through curiosity, warmth, love, and compassion, and to see the knock-on effect this can have on communities and the next generation. Holding onto hope is no small task, and it is not something I say on a whim. Nonetheless, I still believe change starts with ourselves - in uncovering and befriending the parts of ourselves we'd rather shame or run away from, and in doing so, increasing our capacity to do the same for others.
Taking space for ourselves as we aim to evolve for the world around us is vital to keep ourselves going in the long run. My hope would be that counselling provides you with that respite and space just for you - to unburden, to breathe, and to receive a non-judgemental space to process your own emotions, frustrations, and challenges, as well as your hopes and aspirations personally and professionally.

I will travel ridiculously far out of my way for a good coffee shop, I love a good walk when it’s blue skies outside, and could spend hours swimming in the sea on a warm day. I’m also partial to a good episode of the Kardashians.

I am a BACP-qualified counsellor offering a warm, friendly, and integrative approach to therapy. My work is trauma-informed and grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens through safety, connection, and compassion. I work primarily online throughout my practice, tailoring therapy to individuals from all kinds of backgrounds and facing all sorts of challenges. I enjoy drawing from person-centred, parts-based, and third-wave CBT approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
I bring several years’ experience working in social transformation and social impact settings, supporting individuals who have experienced homelessness, addiction, are on probation, or are experiencing the long-term impacts of trauma and loneliness. This work deeply informs what I bring to therapy today and shapes how I aim to support you through any challenges you may face in your own social impact role. It is vital that those offering support to others are themselves supported - ensuring your work is sustainable, replenishing, and that you are held within yourself while doing what you care about in the world.
My approach supports long-term change by allowing memories from your early years and protective parts to surface at a pace that feels safe. When past pain and shame is met with warmth, connection, and compassion, new neural pathways can form - helping you feel less stuck and leaving you with change that lasts a lifetime. Alongside counselling, my training also integrates coaching skills, and I am excited to bring this into our work together where it feels relevant.
