Nawal Mohamud

  • I’m Nawal Mohamud, a counsellor who values creating a space where you can pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself. I aim to provide support in a way that feels compassionate and grounded, helping you navigate life’s challenges while noticing your own strengths along the way.

My work centres on supporting clients who feel weighed down by past experiences, the pressures of daily life, or the impact of wider social and cultural stressors. Together, we explore what feels difficult, while also creating space to reconnect with resilience, balance, and joy. I believe healing is not only about working through challenges but also about rediscovering what makes life meaningful and fulfilling. I hope to offer a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to thrive.

  • I specialise in supporting clients to heal from familial, relationships and community wounds, recover from burnout, and reconnect with joy.

  • In this fast-paced world, I carve out time for slowness and for me that is connecting with nature, movement and prioritising creativity and play.

  • What inspires me is the strength of community and the way people show up for one another with compassion. I am moved by those who remain kind and soft in a world that often hardens us, reminding me that healing is both individual and collective; rooted in culture, solidarity, and shared resilience. This perspective shapes my approach to therapy, where I aim to create a space that honours both personal stories and the wider contexts we live in.

They embody the 'One Struggle, One Fight' attitude, which is what we all need to be doing.
